Torch on Felts

We keep SBS torch on felts from manufacturers such as Icopal and Debotec. These felts are melted down using high powered gas torches. The first layer is usually installed as a 2mm underlay and then cross bonded with a 4mm plain sand.  Alternatively, green mineral is usable for a top layer.

Underlay

  • 2mm Underlay 16 x 1 mtr
  • coverage 14m2

Used as a base layer after the application of bitumen primer to the boards.

4mm Plain Sanded

Torch on felts - Sanded

  • 4mm Plain Sand 8 x 1 mtr
  • coverage 7m2

Used as a top layer after the application of 2mm underlay. Finish off this layer with solar reflective.

4mm Green Mineral

Torch on felts - Green

  • Green mineral 8 x 1 mtr
  • coverage 7m2
  • as edgings 25 mtr linear

Used to make edgings or used as a top layer after the application of 2mm underlay.
